Green Valley Ranch Resort has debuted redesigned meeting and convention spaces as part of its ongoing $200 million transformation, including a new outdoor venue called The Lawn aimed at capturing a growing share of Southern Nevada’s lucrative events and conventions market.

The Station Casinos property, located a few miles from the Las Vegas Strip in Henderson, worked with architecture firm WATG and Wimberly Interiors on the redesign, blending Mediterranean influences with contemporary design elements. The refreshed convention spaces total 69,000 square feet and feature natural tones, custom lighting and bespoke carpeting throughout.

“The opening of Green Valley Ranch’s newly reimagined convention and meeting spaces reflects our commitment to timeless design, modern functionality and a seamless guest experience,” said Deanna Burgess, corporate vice president of sales for Station Casinos. “These spaces celebrate the property’s timeless heritage while introducing bold, contemporary design elements that elevate every type of gathering.”

Among the indoor spaces, the Estancia Ballroom holds up to 900 guests for receptions, 1,300 theater-style or 600 banquet-style. The Grand Ballroom at the Grand Event Center — which also hosts concerts and comedy shows — accommodates up to 1,100 for receptions or banquets and 1,500 theater-style. Seventeen breakout rooms and meeting spaces round out the indoor offerings.

The Lawn, the resort’s newest addition, brings 5,000 square feet of landscaped outdoor space designed for gatherings of 50 to 250 guests. Combined with the adjacent Opium Terrace and Piazza, the area can accommodate up to 600 guests. Additional outdoor options include The Terrace for up to 100 guests, the Pool Deck for up to 1,000 and the Garden Amphitheater for up to 1,000.

The convention space debut follows the recent opening of redesigned West Tower luxury suites. The resort said additional enhancements to guestrooms, dining and public spaces are planned through the end of 2026.

The investment in convention facilities comes as Las Vegas continues to position itself as a premier destination for corporate events, conferences and destination weddings — segments that generate significant economic activity beyond traditional gaming revenue. Off-Strip properties like Green Valley Ranch are increasingly competing for events that value proximity to the Strip without the premium pricing of Strip venues. The resort’s proximity to residential areas in Henderson also makes it an attractive option for local corporate meetings and social events, a market segment that has grown substantially as Southern Nevada’s population has expanded.

Henderson has increasingly positioned itself as a destination for business events that prefer a more relaxed, resort-style setting away from the intensity of the Strip, and Green Valley Ranch investment reflects confidence that this market segment will continue to grow as Southern Nevada expands its convention infrastructure beyond traditional Strip corridors.
