Las Vegas-based luxury homebuilder Blue Heron has appointed Kevin Adams as its new CEO, charging him with leading the company’s expansion beyond Nevada while maintaining its Las Vegas roots. Adams took over day-to-day leadership in June 2026 from founder Tyler Jones, who remains with the company in his founder role.
Adams brings significant executive experience to the position. He previously served as CEO of nutrition company Isagenix, where he helped grow revenue from approximately $300 million to nearly $1.9 billion. He began his career as a CPA before moving into executive leadership roles across multiple industries. He has advised Blue Heron and its founder for the past three years while based in Phoenix, and has now relocated to Las Vegas for the role.
In an interview with the Las Vegas Review-Journal on August 20, 2026, Adams outlined his vision for taking Blue Heron from a regional luxury builder to a national brand. The company is currently expanding in Utah, with a vertical project underway in St. George and plans to enter northern Utah. Adams also identified Idaho, Colorado, Phoenix, and Texas as target markets for future expansion.
Las Vegas will remain the company’s core market, Adams emphasized. The city’s luxury housing sector has been bolstered by the arrival of professional sports teams, the renewal of Formula 1 for another 10 years, and an expanding dining and entertainment scene that continues to attract high-net-worth residents from high-tax states.
Adams identified four priorities for the company under his leadership: clarity in goals, collaboration across departments, consistency in execution, and communication. He noted that building highly customized luxury homes is inherently complex, and that the company is investing in technology, including artificial intelligence, to improve cross-functional processes and scale operations efficiently.
The company is also investing in a virtual reality room that will allow prospective clients to walk through their future homes before construction begins. This technology aims to enhance the personalization experience that has become Blue Heron’s signature in the luxury market, serving clients with budgets ranging from $2 million to $20 million.
Current luxury housing trends that Blue Heron is incorporating into its designs include wellness and longevity features, indoor-outdoor living spaces, dedicated entertainment rooms, and larger bonus or game rooms. Adams said the company’s design philosophy centers on understanding how each client lives rather than offering predetermined option lists.
The leadership transition comes at a time when the Las Vegas luxury housing market continues to show strength, driven by migration from cold-weather and high-tax states. Adams expressed confidence that the luxury segment will remain robust, noting that decades-old migration patterns favor warm-weather, low-tax markets like Las Vegas.
