Station Casinos, the Las Vegas-born locals casino giant, is celebrating its 50th anniversary on July 1, 2026, by kicking off a citywide brand campaign and unveiling a new logo crafted from its history.

The company, founded by Frank Fertitta Jr. on July 1, 1976, as The Casino — a 5,000-square-foot property with 100 slot machines and 90 employees — has grown into one of the most dominant gaming brands in Southern Nevada. The property quickly expanded into the Bingo Palace in 1977 before becoming Palace Station in 1984.

The new logo draws inspiration from the original Bingo Palace mark created in the 1970s, paying tribute to the company’s beginnings while introducing a more contemporary brand expression. The design was developed using materials from the company’s archives, including vintage playing cards, casino chips, matchbooks, and classic roadside signage, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“From Vegas. For Vegas. Always Vegas” serves as the campaign tagline. The refreshed wordmark reflects the simplicity of the era of the original design while giving the Station Casinos brand a modern look, the company said.

As part of the new identity, the iconic arch from Bingo Palace’s roadside sign has been reimagined as a symbol of continuity, connecting the company’s past with its future direction.

The brand campaign will debut at Palace Station on July 1 ahead of a drone and fireworks show scheduled for 9 p.m. The campaign will feature broadcast spots, social media activations, photo booths, custom merchandise, and other activations celebrating the company’s legacy and connection to Las Vegas locals.

The logo and campaign were developed in collaboration between branding studio The New Company and Station’s in-house marketing team. A limited-time commemorative 50th anniversary logo collection is available for purchase on $5 and $25 chips at the cage and player services, as well as on complimentary Boarding Pass cards and curated retail items.

The 50th anniversary celebrations will continue with special fireworks shows on July 4 at six of Station’s large properties across the Las Vegas Valley.

Station Casinos, now led by the Fertitta family’s second generation, operates multiple properties throughout the valley and has been a fixture of the local gaming market for half a century, catering primarily to Las Vegas residents rather than Strip tourists. The company’s properties include Palace Station, Boulder Station, Texas Station, Sunset Station, Santa Fe Station, Green Valley Ranch, and Red Rock Resort, among others.

The 50th anniversary comes at a pivotal time for the company. Station Casinos has invested heavily in renovating and expanding its properties in recent years, including a major remodel of Palace Station and the development of the new Durango Casino & Resort in the southwest valley. The company has also been modernizing its gaming floors and loyalty program, known as the Boarding Pass, to better compete for local customers in an increasingly crowded market.

The rebranding effort signals Station’s intent to maintain its dominant position in the locals gaming market even as new competitors enter the Las Vegas Valley. The company’s focus on the residential market has historically provided a more stable revenue stream than the more volatile Strip gaming business, which depends heavily on tourism and convention traffic.
